Mr. Bill’s, a popular eatery for decades on Route 73 just before the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow Township, has been open since the 1950s. The restaurant closed for a while when its former owner retired — but now, thanks to new owners and a face lift, a new, improved version of the restaurant is now open. With a 50’s style motif and their giant man statue out front (considered one of Americas’ a roadside attractions), Mr. Bills has made a great comeback. In May, residents took an evening excursion for dinner and to see their weekly car show attraction. Classic car owners brought an assortment of cars for everyone to see. The food was great and their homemade ice cream was the perfect ending to a great evening.
Another fun outing this month was to Aueltto’s for their annual ” Spring Fling” luncheon and dance. This year we were lucky enough to get a table by the window. The view of the lake was spectacular as was the music and the meal. We are looking forward to our end of year event this September that Auletto’s caters at the Red Bank Battle Field. Last year, one of our lucky team members won a flat screen TV!
No matter where we go, our outings are just a good time to spend with friends and have new experiences..
