Every year, the Gateway High school graciously invites our residents to their annual spring dance. Residents from all neighborhoods at Woodbury Mews came out to join the fun. Each year the kids pick a different theme. This year was ironically 1970’s, the same as our theme party that followed the next day (They let us take home the decorations too!) The kids assisted with serving the food and beverages, decorating, and just about everything! A delicious Italian style meal was served complete with Ziti, Caesar salad and garlic bread. Cake and pudding were the perfect ending to the meal. Some residents danced with the kids while D.J. Paul played some great tunes for all ages. The staff at the school donate gift baskets that are raffled off during the night and we also bring a basket to show our appreciation. None of us won any this year but there’s always next year!
