And they’re off! Woodbury Mews residents lined up outside the classroom eagerly awaiting Anna’s monthly installment of her highly-attended Watermark University A.R.T. class. There’s always a waiting list for this class, as participants look forward to creating new beautiful works of art each month!
This month, Anna demonstrated how to make a summer picture frame embellished with nautical seashells. Residents were given the option to use a pre-selected photo or replace it with one of their own for a more personal touch. Anna looks forward to this class just as much as the residents, as each monthly installment unveils a meticulously organized room ready for her faithful following of craft-enthusiasts. Upon arrival, participants will find supplies neatly arranged along with a finished sample for reference purposes. Anna utilizes the smart TV to stream creative visuals from YouTube and occasionally incorporates a brief history lesson or tutorial that relates to the project. For this particular class, she set the scene for a tropical getaway as the bright screen displayed ocean waves gently lapping onto a sandy shore. Residents channeled their inner artist while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, resulting in beautifully unique frames perfect for summer decorating!
Special thanks to Anna for inspiring such creativity among our residents and making crafting so fun. Don’t forget to sign up for her next class on Friday, August 16th at 3:15pm… you won’t want to miss it!
